Herbert Fritz Knopf Double Horn
Extremely rare find. Closet horn from early 1930's with historical
significance. Original owner was a hornist with famed New York conductor
Walter Damrasch in the 1930s. This Knopf is in exceptional shape with no
patches or thin spots. Equipped with a custom Houghton pipe (original pipe
included as well), complete valve rebuild.
This horn sounds and feels like the finest Geyers, Lewis, Bergs and Rauch
horns at a value price. Vintage investment-quality instrument in mint
condition. Original vintage case included. $8,500
